In 1999, CECI assisted the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in carrying out the prelininary planning of facilities, including terminal and hangar, for the Marshall Islands' Majuro International Airport.
Located in the North Pacific Ocean, the Republic of Marshall Islands is
comprised of a group of atolls and reefs about one-half of the way from Hawaii
to Australia. With a population of approximately 56,000 people, the main
industries are copra, fish, tourism, and craft items from shell, wood, and
